The VMC1160 vertical machining center is a high-rigidity 3-axis CNC machining center designed for precision milling, drilling, boring, tapping, and general metal machining applications. With 1100 mm X-axis travel, 600 mm Y-axis travel, and 600 mm Z-axis travel, it provides a large and versatile machining envelope for medium-sized workpieces and multi-operation production.
The VMC1160 is equipped with a 1200 × 600 mm worktable supporting a maximum load of 800 kg, a BT40-150 spindle, and a standard 24-tool disc-type automatic tool changer. The spindle reaches up to 10,000 rpm and is available with an 11–15 kW spindle motor.
The machine uses rigid linear guideways, Ø40 × 12 mm ball screws, automatic lubrication, 3-axis screw pre-tensioning, and spindle and servo overload protection. With ±0.005 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.003 mm repeat positioning accuracy per 300 mm, the VMC1160 is designed for stable and repeatable precision machining. The standard CNC controller is GSK.
